Sassetti LLC celebrates 100 years of exceptional accounting, auditing, tax and advisory services. Started by Frank L. Sassetti in Chicago in 1921, the firm has grown to seven partners and two offices in the western suburbs of Chicago. We are grateful for our loyal clients and dedicated employees who have helped us to reach this milestone. We hope to continue to be a progressive leader in the public accounting industry for the next 100 years and beyond.
As we embark on this next century as a firm, Sassetti LLC is pleased to announce that Jessica Freiburg has been elected as co-managing partner beginning January 1, 2021. Jessica will serve one year as co-managing partner alongside the current managing partner, Jim Robbs, so that they have the opportunity to transition the firm management. Jessica will take over as the sole managing partner in January, 2022.
Jessica’s dedication and energy were evident from the beginning of her career when she joined the firm as a staff accountant in 2004. In addition to becoming a highly competent accounting professional, she has led the firm in several initiatives over the years, including firm recruiting, employee retention and advancement, and most recently the development of the Company’s outsourced accounting department. She has also established and managed various client relationships within the areas of tax compliance and planning, audit, and outsourced accounting.
Jim Robbs will be stepping down as managing partner at the end of 2021. He and the partners of the firm agree that fresh perspectives and leadership are critical to continued growth, and they hope to help further the firm’s mission and goals by elevating the next class of leaders. Jim will remain an active partner at Sassetti, where he will continue to serve as a senior partner in the audit practice as well as maintain a leadership position with his role on the Executive Committee.
