Open Positions

Sassetti LLC has an immediate opening for a Tax Senior Associate. The Tax Senior Associate will be an important part of the Tax Team, preparing tax returns within various types of entities and industries in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of partnerships, corporations, S-corporations, 990s, trusts and individual income tax returns
  • Preparation of payroll and sales tax returns
  • Part of a multi-disciplinary team helping to provide industry knowledge and experience
  • Provide timely, high-quality client services that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Work with the tax team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed-including preparing, organizing and maintaining engagement work papers and files, tax planning and quarterly estimates with direct client interaction
  • Research of tax and accounting issues, in addition to determining alternative solutions
  • Begin to participate in firm’s practice development efforts through involvement with referral sources, community and industry activities

Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of public accounting experience in preparing individual and business flow through entity tax returns
  • Bachelors of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting required
  • CPA license in-hand or in-process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to articulate complex information
  • Experience with CCH Axcess Tax software and Checkpoint RIA Research a plus
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel/Word and QuickBooks

Sassetti is looking for an experienced Part-time or Full-time accountant to service clients in several industries. Qualified candidates will have five (5) or more years of experience performing general accounting transactions and functions, including a strong understanding of how to perform a month end close. Strong analytical and basic accounting skills are essential to this position.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word is required. Familiarity with Netsuite and QuickBooks a plus.

Public accounting is a fast-paced environment that requires candidates to be able to juggle multiple accounts at one time. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and interact effectively.

We are currently looking for a full-time Staff Auditor.

Required Skills

  • Participating on annual audit, review, and compilation of engagements with a variety of clients.
  • Participating in all aspects of financial statement preparation and assisting with the planning of the engagements.
  • Performing a large amount of technical work and continuing to develop technical skills because we want you to succeed.
  • Maintaining an exceptional relationship with clients to increase customer happiness and working with client management and staff at all levels to perform audit services.
  • We promote partnership and collaboration, so you will work with your audit team to identify and resolve client issues discovered during the audit process. We encourage you to be creative and become an expert so that you can make a difference at our firm.

Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of recent and relevant public accounting external auditing experience.
  • Your skills should include organization, social, technical, and accounting and auditing so that you can work effectively with clients and staff. This will help you succeed as well as build and manage positive relationships.
  • You will need to be able to multi-task since planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements may have to be performed concurrently.
  • This position requires you to meet the education requirement for CPA certification
  • You must be proficient at Microsoft Excel as a minimum qualification.
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various client sites.
