Sassetti announces the promotions of Shawn Carter to Senior Manager, Korina Carrillo to Manager, and Johnathan Bollas to Senior. Each brings with them a unique skill set, and the firm is excited to enter a new chapter with these gifted individuals.
Shawn joined Sassetti in 2016, and has over 11 years of accounting experience. He has worked with not-for-profit organizations, as well as employee benefit plans and privately held companies. Shawn is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, and is a member of the firm’s audit quality committee.

Korina joined the firm in 2015. She has over 12 years of experience, and has worked in audit, consulting and tax for regional CPA firms, in addition to serving as a controller for a privately held company. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She also earned an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the Liautaud Graduate School of Business at UIC.

Johnathan was previously an intern with Sassetti, and joined the firm full-time in 2017. A Chicago native, he graduated from DePaul University with a degree in accounting. Johnathan works largely with not-for-profit organizations, but also has experience working with for-profit companies and employee benefit plans.
