Senior Auditor

Sassetti is currently seeking a Senior Auditor to join our Audit Team.

Senior Auditor – Working directly with clients, you will work with a team on audit, review, compilation, and financial statement engagements, oversee junior staff, implement improvements to existing processes, and develop professional client relationships. Industries range from manufacturing and distribution to technology to nonprofits. Most clients are located in the Chicagoland area.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of experience in public accounting in audit and assurance
• CPA license or CPA candidate/eligible
• Attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, time management and PC skills including Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Compensation for this role is determined by many factors including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Sassetti, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of this role’s wage range is $69,500 – $90,000.
