With great enthusiasm, the Sassetti Partners want to announce the admission of Izabela Poludniak to partnership. Over her fourteen years with Sassetti, she has helped us grow strategically through her dedication to client service, technical know-how, leadership and staff development. She is a wonderful asset to the Sassetti team and we are excited for her to join us as a partner to continue to lead and grow the firm as we begin our next century.
After a brief internship at Deloitte, Izabela made the decision to develop her career outside the Big 4. She joined Sassetti in 2007, upon graduation from DePaul University. Izabela works closely with publicly and privately-held companies, including franchisors, real estate entities, general and specialty contractors, as well as companies focused on manufacturing and distribution. She has expertise in serving various types of local, regional, and national not-for-profit organizations. Utilizing her unique blend of assurance, accounting, tax and advisory experience, Izabela assists entities with refining profitability, managing risk, assessing revenue recognition and analyzing controls to ensure businesses and organizations maximize their potential.
Izabela graduated Summa Cum Laude from DePaul University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She currently serves on the board of Chicago Literacy Alliance and on the Illinois CPA Society’s Not-for-Profit Committee.
When asked about her new role, Izabela said, “I am humbled, honored and excited for this new opportunity. It has truly been a blessing to work under leaders who believe in you, who empower you and who share their knowledge and wisdom. I am equally as grateful for each of the Sassetti team members, past and present. I would not have gotten here without their hard work, dedication, kindness and friendship, and will continue to support them in any way I can.” Regarding the future, she added, “I hope to fuel Sassetti’s growth by continuing to create an environment where our team members thrive, our clients receive exceptional service, and our community prospers.”
