Sarah joined Sassetti in 2023 with over 10 years of audit and accounting experience with other regional and local CPA firms. She spends the majority of her time supervising audits of nonprofit organizations, single audits and employee benefit plans. She has an MBA and MPA from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS, and has been a licenced CPA since 2008.

Q&A
What is it about Accounting that attracted you to the field?
My undergraduate degree afforded me a business minor; I chose accounting as my focus by chance. During my courses, it occured to me that accounting was like working a puzzle, and I love puzzles. All the pieces have to fit a certain order to gain the proper result, balance.
What drew you to Sassetti?
Their dedication to progressive thinking and unbending belief in ethics, integrity, and life balance.
Who is someone you look up to (living or passed) and why?
My parents, both living and born in 1945; theywork circles around me.
Greatest Accomplishment? (personal or work)
Park Ranger, or perhaps one of those Highway Mowers that get to use the huges tractors!
