Prior to joining Sassetti three years ago, Kathy played a significant role at MBE CPAS, a high-growth firm where she helped expand the employee count from 10 to 80 across multiple offices. She has a strong passion for consulting and providing Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS), particularly in the area of resolving financial challenges at Sassetti.

What is it about Accounting that attracted you to the field?
I never stop learning. It is constant learning. And also being able to work with such a wide variety of different businesses and being a part of their successes.
Who is someone you look up to?
My mom is at the top of this list. She is no longer with us but she was more than a strong woman. She was 19 when she started her family and ended up having 4 girls to raise on a dairy farm. She worked alongside my Dad and was an equal partner in the farm operations. Her goal was to raise 4 confident, independent and strong women who had dreams and ambitions of their own who would always be able to stand on their own 2 feet.
Describe your work style.
I love being part of a team and working together to impart my knowledge. It is so rewarding watching another team member growing in their profession and skill level.
