Q&A
What is it about Accounting that attracted you to the field?
I always enjoyed math in school and also did well in the subject. I took a couple accounting and business classes in High School and knew it was the direction I wanted to pursue. I even won the Business Award in H.S. 🙂
What drew you to Sassetti?
What attracted me to Sassetti was how the firm was a little bit on smaller side and everyone was very welcoming and warm. When I started out in the audit department, I was fortuante to work on several different parts of the audit, which I would have not had that opportunity at a larger firm.
Who is someone you look up to (living or passed) and why?
My dad. He’s a very hard worker and has own his own business for over 20 years. It has been challenging at time with the long hours, even flow of the economy, but has always provided for our family (and enjoyed his job!). I started working at a young age and I think my drive comes from him.
Greatest Accomplishment? (personal or work)
Work – Passing my CPA exam; Personal – raising 3 young boys!
