Q&A
What is it about Accounting that attracted you to the field?
I was attracted to accounting as an industry because of the people. This industry is rife with intelligent, hardworking individuals. I enjoy the professionalism and the problem solving we encounter in this industry on a regular basis. And, I was attracted to human resources as a profession because I want to help people. I enjoy HR because I am able to interact with everyone within the company, provide resources, and lend an ear when needed. Over the years, human resources has evolved and I’ve been afforded the opportunity to think strategically and help companies solve problems. I can’t think of another job where I can be as involved and can make a difference to not only the firm, but also to the people who are employed here.
