Korina Carrillo, CPA

Korina Carrillo is an Audit Manager at Sassetti LLC, and brings nearly 15 years of experience to the firm. Korina has worked as an auditor, consultant and tax preparer for regional CPA firms for the majority of her career. She also worked as a controller for a privately held company specializing in consulting and technology. She has expertise in auditing various types of not-for-profit organizations, including compliance testing for single audits, employee benefit plans and privately held businesses. She appreciates the opportunity to help clients streamline accounting procedures and processes to improve their bottom line.

Education and Associations

Korina graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She also earned an MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the Liautaud Graduate School of Business at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is an active member of the AICPA and the ILCPAS.

Korina loves spending quality time with her husband and two kids. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and reading.
