Accounting has been a consistent throughout my entire career. I enjoy the accuracy, auditing (finding errors and researching how it occurred) and structure/rules. What drew you to Sassetti?
I learned of Sassetti through Amy Boston’s sister, Dayna. I knew Amy had taken a position with Sassetti earlier this year and had wonderful things to say about the company. Once an opportunity that could utilize my skill set became available, I was thrilled to be considered. Amy reached out to me , her kind, positive attitude with sheer excitement was incentive for me to interview with the team. Once I met the team, I was met with a warm welcome and a room filled with brilliant minds. I knew, at that moment, this is exactly where I want to be!
Who is someone you look up to (living or passed) and why?
My mother. As a single mother of two girls, she persevered every time she was met with adversity. My mother taught me to rise to a challenge, problem solve, a very strong work ethic, to apply myself and when you work hard, you will appreciate the fruits of your labor that much more. Find value in the journey, take nothing for granted, have gratitude, be confident, be humble and always treat others how you want to be treated.
