Meet Michelle
Michelle is a Tax manager who aims to work closely with clients to understand their goals and provide clear, practical tax guidance. With a collaborative and approachable style, Michelle emphasizes open communication, responsiveness, and follow-through to ensure clients feel informed and supported throughout the process. Having “grown up” in the restaurant industry, Michelle prides herself on her ability to nurture relationships on all levels. With an undergraduate degree from DePaul University and a Master’s in Taxation from Northern Illinois University, Michelle has spent her career focused on taxation, with an emphasis in business returns. She is also a CPA licensed in Illinois. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, working out and dancing.

The boutique, family feel of Sassetti, the diversity and the client base is what drew me in.
What is it about Accounting that attracted you to the field?
Ask questions and have a learning mindset. Take part in the extras like happy hours, volunteer events, and committees. Bonding with the team is so important on so many levels.
